An Adelaide mum caused a stir on social media when she shared a clever hack using a Kmart room screen.
Struggling to find a bedhead large enough for her super king-size bed, she purchased two $69 room screens, removed the ends and screwed them together to create a stylish and affordable bed head.
Kmart fans are already obsessed with the acacia and rattan room screen as it is, however the popular product also looks great as a bed head, and you can add or remove panels as needed.
Simply unscrew the swing hinge, detach the panels, and adding an extra panel – or two, depending on the size of your bed, then screw back together again.
The hack created a lot of interest of Facebook, attracting 943 likes and almost 200 comments.
“Looks very tropical like a Bali resort. I like it,” wrote one follower.
“This is so clever, looks beautiful!” added another.
“That’s fantastic – you’ve achieved a boho style look without breaking the budget – very cool,” wrote a third.
