Dogs might be “man’s best friend” but on Phillip Island in Victoria, they’re also “penguin’s best friend” too. Dr Harry meets Craig and his detection dogs, Flash and Milly, who use their keen sense of smell to find foxes and feral cats; two animals that prey on the native birds and penguins. With their help, the world’s largest colony of little penguins isn’t just surviving, they’re thriving.
