We all love a Woolies mud cake. They’re the perfect dessert to whip out when you have unexpected guests. But there’s a new cake to take the crown, the Biscoff cheesecake.
Once in a while, Woolworths will drop a limited edition cake. In previous years, these launches have included Mint Cookies and Cream, Caramelised White Chocolate and a tasty Rocky Road. But this cheesecake with a twist is here to stay.
The newly launched cheesecake is priced at $22 and covers all bases for Biscoff lovers. The main event is the cheesecake flavoured with Biscoff baked on top of a crumbly base, then finished with a spread of Lotus Biscoff and biscuit crumble.
Not only are Woolies launching a new cheesecake, but they have also launched a brand new Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie. Slightly cheaper at $14, this dessert pie features a crunchy, gooey vanilla cookie base with Belgian dark chocolate chunks.
Adam Mourad, Director of Fresh at Woolworths Food Company, said: “Biscoff flavour has taken the world by storm, and we wanted to celebrate the unique flavour in a rich and creamy cheesecake for customers to enjoy.
“We’re also excited to see the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie arrive in stores. Cookie pies have been rising in popularity over the past few years and so we’ve created a fun version for the whole family to enjoy.”
